As a 360 service center, Schematic Works supports the photo and motion industry with facility, operations, and studio services, from repairs, CYC, and distro maintenance to studio buildout management and consulting services.
We don’t produce, create (except on our Instagram), or rent EQ. We are focused solely on supporting your equipment and servicing your studio! Our workflow caters to owner-operators, studios, production companies, rental houses, and more.

Repairs
We know how annoying repairs can be — unanswered emails, ignored calls, forgotten equipment… At Schematic Works, we believe you should never have to chase down a tech for a status update.
Our innovative web portal includes asset tracking, digital ticketing, estimates, invoices & payments, and audit asset history. From drop off to pick up, all of your equipment is tracked with real-time updates, history and even photos (so you CAN blame the messenger for your damaged pack).
Qualifications
A web portal with asset tracking sounds awesome, but you’re probably wondering — what do we repair?!
Our techs are highly qualified to repair strobes, continuous lightings, and supporting gear, such as grip, electrical components, modifiers, and camera support (tripods, heads, studio stands, etc.).
We are official service partners providing warranty repairs for Astera, Briese, Creamsource, Hive, and NANLUX.
And service Astra, Broncolor, Dynalite, K5600, LiteGear, Mole Richardson, Profoto, Speedotron, and Hensel.
Ask about Profoto 8a pack repairs, head extensions, and ARRI header cables.
CYC & Distro Maintenance
We build and maintain CYCs. And we refinish them when you f*** them up; without the proper cleaning and painting techniques your CYC will quickly resemble a full moon with craters.
We also service power distribution boxes (AKA limos, spiderboxes, etc.). When you blow circuits, melt paddles, and fuse receptacles on your lunchbox, we got you.
Studio Consulting & Project Management
We have worked for years in the industry building, maintaining, and managing still photography and motion studios across the country, from in-house, to rental studios tailoring your needs for success.
We provide workflow implementation, digital services, SaaS, equipment procurement recommendations, and studio layout with efficiency in mind from boutique to enterprise-level studio services.
